A pedestrian was struck and killed by a southbound freight train Sunday morning near SE 4th Street in Delray Beach, police said.
The incident occurred around 9 a.m. on the Florida East Coast Railway tracks. The victim has not yet been identified.
Authorities closed all roadways between SE 4th Street and NE 10th Street, including Atlantic Avenue, while detectives investigated the scene. No further details have been released.
